OSPI Budget-Are School Social Workers Mentioned?

9/19/2021

OSPI continues to ignore our profession in their communication about budget priorities. This newsletter mentions OSPI's goal to increase funding for "nurses, counselors, psychologists, and other educational support staff". Please be part of WASSW's drive to educate legislators about our profession and what you do in your school district. We have provided advocacy tools for these conversations on our website. https://content.govdelivery.com/.../WAOSPI/bulletins/2f1915d
