                  OSPI is an important resource for all educators. It is the primary source for School Social Work Certification click here, and two other important areas of focus for School Social Work practice Compassionate Schools click here, and Dropout Reduction (Building Bridges committee) click here in addition to Special Education, 504, McKinney-Vinto, Common Core Standards, Academic Assessment, Curriculum, Instruction and Grants and many more resources.

                  OSPI is responsible for developing policies, and procedures based on the Washington Administrative Code (WAC), it also implements learning initiatives and current legislation that effects public education.
